On August 9th, Fig Offices in Swindon celebrated ‘International Coworking Day’ with a free open day of coworking for businesses in the area.

Coworking has become a popular method used by small to medium businesses over the last few years, allowing fluidity to take your work where you need it to be whilst remaining in a professional environment. One of the key benefits of Coworking are the networking opportunities that don’t naturally occur if you were to work from home or a private office. Now in its eighth year, International Coworking Day highlights these benefits.

The event at 3 Newbridge Square in Swindon, where one of the Fig Offices is based, was a real success with attendees enjoying their free coworking space with lunch, drinks (and cupcakes) provided. It was an opportunity for businesses to be introduced to Fig Offices and consider using the facilities on offer in the future, be it for coworking or one of the onsite meeting rooms.

“The offices were spacious, clean and encouraged a positive and professional working environment, I was very impressed. The onsite team, led by Gemma came across professionally but also very friendly and enthusiastic as well. Exactly what I’d want from my office space managers” – Antony Alcock, Newsquest

“I found it beneficial and met with two very informative businesses and hope to stay in touch with them” – Kay Wainwright, Swindon Town Football Club
