Fig Offices Gloucester are pleased to announce that their chosen charity for 2019 will be The Leukaemia & Intensive Chemotherapy Fund (LINC).

Louise from Linc commented:

‘The Leukaemia & Intensive Chemotherapy Fund (LINC) is a small local charity that works to improve the care of patients who are receiving treatment within Gloucestershire NHS Trust Foundation.

We try to be:

  • Their lifeline by offering emotional support at the toughest time of their lives.
  • Their relief by providing financial grants to ease the pressure on families as a loved one undergoes months of intensive treatment.
  • Their comfort by funding the little extras making months cut off from the outside world easier to bear.
  • Their breakthrough by funding research into potential new treatments to find better ways to diagnose and treat blood cancer right here in Gloucestershire.

However, we can only be all of these things for patients and their families if local people and businesses choose to support us. ‘

Mandy, the centre manager for Fig Offices Gloucester said.

‘Fig has chosen this charity as they rely on generous people and businesses who simply wish to make a life-saving difference to local cancer patients and their families. The care and support that LINC provides during their treatment goes above and beyond what is provided by the NHS.’
